Smuggling attempts foiled

JIZAN: Border Guard patrols in Jizan region last month foiled several attempts to smuggle 93,033 items of ammunition, 91 weapons, 277 narcotic pills, 263,164 kg of qat, 807 kg of hashish and 79 bottles of wine. Col. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Mahfouz, spokesman for the Border Guards in Jizan, stressed that its patrols are ready to face anyone who tries to destabilize the security and stability of the Kingdom.
