The Saudi Red Crescent in Jazan Region has successfully arranged a visual interview between a Saudi detainee in Guantanamo prison and his family in Jazan, it was reported here last night. Ali bin Ahmed Zaala, official spokesman of the Saudi Red Crescent in Jazan Region, said in a statement to SPA that the visual interview between the family of Aldarbi who are residents of Jazan and their son who was imprisoned in Guantanamo comes under instructions from Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority to ensure his humanitarian role through the Family Ties Bridges Program supervised by Prince Bandar bin Faisal bin Abdurrahman, Deputy Director General for International Affairs at the SRCA. For their part, the members of the family expressed thanks for this noble gesture.
