President of SRCA Receives Cable from ICRC Regional Official

Qa'dah 3, 1431/Oct 11, 2010, SPA-- Regional Commissioner of the International Committee of the Red Cross for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states Gerard Piternier and Deputy Regional Commissioner Muaiyad Kalabi, in a cable sent to Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA), expressed gratitude and appreciation for the support and exerted efforts by the prince to launch the first round of communicating through visual technique by prisoners in Guantanamo to their families.
On the other hand, International Committee of the Red Cross asserted the continuity of cooperation with
(SRCA) to carry out the second round of the visual communication with the prisoners in Guantanamo by December.
