General Directorate of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Najran region today conducted live video contacts between three families and their relatives being detained at Guantanamo. SRCA official spokesman in Najran Mohammed Al-Shehri made clear that detainees' contacts with their families come according to the directives of Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, SRCA President to confirm its humanitarian role and as a confirmation of family ties program, which is overseen by Prince Bandar bin Faisal bin Abdurrahman, Deputy Director General of the SRCA General Directorate for International Affairs. For their part, the family members of Guantanamo detainees expressed their thanks and appreciation to Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for efforts being exerted by SRCA to provide ways to communicate with their detained relatives.
