AlHijjah 2, 1434, Oct 7, 2013, SPA -- Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon. The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet welcomed the visit of President Chancellor Adli Mansour of Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing deep relations between the two countries and the keenness of both sides to strengthen them in various fields. The Cabinet was briefed on the report on the development of events in the region and the world, topped by the Syrian crisis. It renewed the Kingdom's call on the international community with all its organizations to shoulder the legal and moral responsibilities to address all aspects of the Syrian crisis as quickly as necessary, to hold accountable anyone causing horrific crimes suffered by the Syrian people, to ensure humanitarian access of aid to the Syrian people who are exposed to murder, genocide and displacement in a human suffering ranked among the worst humanitarian crises, the matter which requires concerted international efforts to intensify humanitarian aid to millions of Syrian displaced people and refugees and provide the necessary guarantees for its access to them. The Cabinet discussed a number of issues on local affairs and it was briefed on the report on the preparations undertaken by various ministries, governmental agencies and private organizations concerned with the provision of services for the pilgrims in Makkah, Madinah and the holy sites. The Crown Prince emphasized the importance of the implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to harness all the potentials and provide all the requirements for the convenience of the pilgrims to enable them to perform their Hajj rituals easily and comfortably. --More 14:33 LOCAL TIME 11:33 GMT تغريد
