AlQa'dah 07, 1434, September 13, 2013, SPA -- At least 16 civilians were injured Friday morning when fighters attacked a US consulate in western Afghanistan, police said. "The people were sleeping in their houses around the consulate compound and were injured as the strong explosion broke the glass of their windows," said Abdul Raouf Ahmadi, a spokesman for Herat province police.
