A minibus packed with Afghan civilians has struck a roadside bomb in western Afghanistan, killing at least 13 people and wounding several others, according to AP. Raouf Ahmadi, a police spokesman in Herat province, says the explosion occurred on Thursday morning in Obe district. Mohyuddin Noori, a spokesman for the province's governor, says about 25 people were riding in the minibus, which was on its way to a bazaar where the passengers were going to shop.
