More than 160 Bodies Found after Northern India Floods

AlQa'dah 01, 1434, September 07, 2013, SPA -- Police and disaster management workers found 166 bodies of flood victims in India's northern hill state of Uttarakhand over four days, dpa quoted officials as saying Saturday.
The bodies would be cremated with required rituals after DNA tests and autopsies, Uttarakhand police inspector general RS Meena said.
Heavy monsoon rains triggered devastating landslides and floods in the region, catching thousands of people in the Himalayan region.
