Saudi Railways Organization said that at 7:28 p.m. on Wednesday, the freight train No. 115, westbound from Dammam to Riyadh, derailed without causing any casualties among its crew or damage to carriages. The Director of the Organization's Department of Public Relations and Information Spokesman, Mohammed Abu Zaid, pointed out that seven carriages of the train derailed during its departure from Hofuf station which led to the closure of the entrance of the station for passenger trains in both directions.
