The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at his Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, said the cabinet was briefed on the reports of the repercussions of the events taking place in the region as well as the international contacts, consultations and discussions thereon, especially the widespread violations of human rights in Syria and continuation of massacres and the use of the military machine against the Syrian people. The Cabinet reiterated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's firm stances towards those events. The Cabinet called upon the Islamic nation to stand against this illegitimate regime and against supplying it with weapons, munitions and individuals so that it would not be able to continue its aggression against the Syrian people. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also stressed his keenness on the security and stability of the country and people and ensuring the development which covers all sectors and raising the level of the Saudi people to meet the challenges of the era.
