The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired a Cabinet's session held at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Cabinet reviewed reports on the latest events and developments at regional, Arab and international arenas, renewing the Kingdom's positions toward them. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said that the Cabinet commended the decisions of the 138th session of Arab League Council on the condemnation of all forms of killings and violence against the Syrian people, considering such massacres as crimes against humanity, and calling for their cessation. The Cabinet expressed the appreciation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for States and civil society organizations that participated in the donors' meeting (Consultative Group to support the Republic of Yemen) hosted by the Kingdom, during which participants announced their support for Yemen with an amount of more than $ 6.369 billion led by the Kingdom to help Yemen to overcome its political and economic crisis and to meet its developmental needs. The Minister said that the Cabinet reviewed a number of scientific, medical and economic conferences, symposiums and activities held in the Kingdom this week and commended in this regard the International Conference on Healthy Lifestyles and Non-Communicable Diseases in the Arab World and the Middle East, which was held under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and a symposium entitled "The role and responsibility of public prosecution and judicial bodies in the fight against money laundering and financing of terrorism." --More
