Saudi newspapers' editorials for today highlighted a number of current issues. Al-Watan and Al-Madinah newspapers noted the tribute paid by the International Conference on Counter-Terrorism, which was concluded in Riyadh last Sunday, to the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and appreciation for the full commitment of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to support international efforts to combat terrorism and works of the United Nations in this direction. The newspapers stressed the Kingdom's role in the fight against terrorism which it greatly suffered from. They added that that the agreement of the participants in the conference on the proposal of the Chairman of the Conference, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multi-Lateral Relations, to hold the conference every year came as a confirmation of the success of the efforts of the Kingdom in combating this scourge. --More
