Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to the participants in the conference over the last two days. Thanks of the UN Secretary General were also conveyed to Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer for his successful chairmanship of the conference, making it a wonderful international event and for Saudi Arabia's permanet representative and Head of UKCCT Ambassador Abdullah Al-Alami and the Kingdom's permanent mission for their excellent support for the United Nations's efforts in this field. "The UN Secretary General highly appreciates the commitment of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his government for their efforts in the international endeavor to fight terrorism and what the United Nations is doing in this field as well. UN Secretary General also expressed confidence that in the aftermath of this fruitful conference between the UN and counter-terror centers in addition to other international activities, we are going to see more concerted efforts in the fight against terror.
