General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned strongly the Israeli occupation authorities' decision to ratify the building of 1240 new settlement housing units in the occupied Al-Quds. In a statement today, the OIC Secretary General Professor Ihsanoglu said the Israeli policy of expansion and construction of settlements, in the territory of the State of Palestine occupied since 1967, including Al-Quds Al-Sharqiyah, constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy.
