Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC)Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has condemned the decision of Israel to build 300 housing units in the occupied Al-Quds. "The Israeli decision constitutes a flagrant violation of the resolutions of the international legitimacy and embodies its disdain to its commitments at Annapolis meeting which prevented building of settlements in all Palestinian territories," he elaborated. He noted that the Israeli decision comes only after few days from convening the meeting of Annapolis which means that Israel is not genuinely working for bringing about a just and comprehensive peace based on the resolutions of the international legitimacy, the United Nations and the road map. Ihsanoglu urged the Quartet and the countries which have attended Annapolis meeting to put pressure on Israel until it ceases practicing any action that may impede the march of the peace.
