Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain confirmed that the proposal of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to turn the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) from the cooperation phase to Union one is a matter of urgency to meet the challenges produced by the circumstances surrounding the world and the region nowadays. Also, he pointed out that supporting the steps of GCC unity by its Shoura Majlis, Parliaments, Houses of Representatives and Nation is a duty dictated by responsibility in achieving the aspirations of GCC citizens in security and stability. These statements came during an audience held here today between the Bahraini Premier and the participants in the 6th meeting of the Speakers of GCC Shoura Majlis, Councils and Houses of Representatives, National and Nation on the occasion of their meeting in the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Shoura Majlis of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
