King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain has praised the close brethren relations binding the Bahraini Kingdom with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, their governments and peoples, highlighting the attention and care given to these relations by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. These remarks came during the Bahraini King"s reception here today of the visiting Speaker of the Shoura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation. During the audience, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa underscored the importance of consultations and coordination among the Shoura and Representatives Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), valuing the positions of the Saudi Shoura Council in the support of Arab and Islamic issues at the international parliamentary meetings under the prudent policy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques related to the various issues being witnessed by the region, and at the region and international arenas. King Hamad also extended greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, wishing more prosperity and progress for the Saudi people. For his part, Al Al-Sheikh conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the King of Bahrain, highlighting the keenness of King Hamad on promoting relations between the two Kingdoms in various fields. The audience was attended by a number of senior Saudi and Bahraini officials.
