The Frontier Guards in Jizan Region have prevented entry of 13,551 infiltrators across the borders into the Kingdom during the first half of Ramadan. First Lt. Turki Al-Gosaibi, spokesman of the Directorate General for the Frontier Guards in Jizan Region, said SR90,000, $1,000, 80 mobile telephones and 69 SIM cards were confiscated from the infiltrators. The patrols also seized 84,000 kg of qat, 750 narcotic tablets, 23 kg of hashish, 60 bottles of liquor, 41,000 kg of dangerous firecrackers, 555 kg of tobacco, 685 kg of cigarettes, 1,137 heads of cattle, 270 bags of foodstuffs, 2,100 kg of barley and 62,000 kg of flour.
