Three gunmen were killed in a special operation in Ingushetia late on Saturday, law enforcement sources in the republic told Itar-Tass. The bandits are identified, but their names are not given so far for investigation reasons. It is known that they were involved in attacks on law enforcement officers and arsons of stores. An attempt to detain the three gunmen was made in the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya. They offered resistance and were shot. None of the law enforcement officers was hurt. Two Makarov pistols and two Kalashnikov submachine guns were found at the site, a source at the Investigative Committee's department in the Republic of Ingushetia told Itar-Tass. A criminal case is opened over the shooting at law enforcement officers.
