The Governor of North Darfur, Othman Mohammed Yousef Kiber has announced the completion of construction of 21 villages for voluntary return in Darfur, adding that such achievement was accomplished by a contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab League during 2010 and 2012. In a statement today, Kiber said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia contributed to the construction of 7 villages for voluntary return, pointing out that the World Food Programme and other organizations have helped in providing food and essential services for 1,480,965 residents and displaced persons during the period of December 2011 to April 2012.
