Rustam Ali RIYADH — Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) here recently. The meeting was attended by representatives from all the clubs, RCA executive committee members, Nadeem Babar, CEO RCA, and special representative of the Patron in Chief Prince General Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and RCA President and Chairman Executive Committee Saudi Cricket Center (SCC), Tariq Javed. RCA general secretary Nasir Abbasi presented a comprehensive report on season 2014-15. It stated that RCA held 5 tournaments during the season in which a total of 66 teams participated. In all, 706 matches were played during the season which included 47 forty overs matches, 636 T20s and 23 ten overs matches. RCA built four new pavilions on its grounds, in addition to regular ground maintenance. Plans for season 2015-16 were also elaborated. RCA will organize two 40 overs, two T20 and one 10-over tournament next season. Domestic and international tours and festival matches will also be arranged. Senior Vice President Karim Khan thanked all RCA clubs for their support and appreciated team managers' and captains' efforts for managing teams and playing cricket within the spirit of the game. Babar thanked RCA's Patron for his continuous support to RCA. Javed congratulated RCA executive committee on another successful year. He assured all member clubs RCA's commitment to provide uninterrupted quality cricket in coming years.
