JEDDAH — Ace Travel triumphed against Arcoma Crown by a massive margin of 127 runs, thanks to an explosive and unbeaten knock of 222 off 79 balls by Mouzam Ali in the third week matches of the Ace Travel & Tours Premier League, sponsored and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). Mouzam's innings was studded with 21 sixes, including 5 in an over, and 11 fours. In the other match of the day, Mazco romped home with a thrilling 3-wicket win in a high scoring match against Sindh-XI. Ace Travel batted first and amassed 274-3. Mouzam was in an aggressive mood from the first ball as he hammered the hapless Arcoma bowlers to all parts of the field for his unbeaten 222. Rashid (25) and Parvez (11) were the other contributors. Parvez claimed 2-44 and Ayaz 1-37. In reply, Arcoma Crown was restricted to 147-7. The main scorers were Kaleem (22), Akram (35 — 5 fours, 2 six) and Nabeel (42 not out — 5 fours). Azeem and Khalid took 2 wickets each for 24 and 18 runs, respectively, while Shahid, Yameen and Shahzad took one wicket each. Sindh-XI batted first against Mazco and posted 208-5. Mohsin contributed 62 off 35 balls (7 fours, 2 six) and was given good support by Fahad (21), Shakeel (37), Munawwar (27) and Ayaz (36 not out off 27 balls). Faisal Khan took 2-23, while Jawad and Nasir claimed one wicket each. In reply, Mazco's Faisal Khan, who took 2 wickets earlier, went on the rampage with a blazing knock of 78 off 41 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. He got excellent support from Nasir (33 - 3 fours, 2 sixes) and Amir (unbeaten 49 - 4 fours and 3 sixes). Mazco thus comfortably reached 209-7 for victory. Mohsin (3-34) and Ayaz (2-54) toiled hard for Sindh-XI.
