Tamer, ARM, Pak Green win in JCA Premier MoneyGram

JEDDAH — Tamer beat Caravan Travels by 64 runs, ARM routed Mazco by 105 runs and Pak Green upset unbeaten ACE Travels & Tours by 5 wickets in the 9th week matches of the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah T-20 Premier Division, conducted by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC).

In other matches, Mazco beat Panda by 8 runs, Pak Green downed Caravan by 9 wickets, ARM gained a 4-wicket win against Tamer and Arcoma registered a 103-run victory over Natco.

Tamer, batting first, scored 189-5 against Caravan Travels. Syed Mohammad Afroz scored 44 off 16 balls, while his partner Mohammad Ayazuddin Irfan went for 11 off medium pacer Abdul Jaleel. But Jawed Ahmed made a sensible 42. Other contributors were Usman (27), Adnan Anwar Khan (32 not out off 13) and Urooj (15 not out). Rehan took 3-41, Zahid Khan 2-20, Mohammad Akram 2-32 and Abdul Jaleel 1-39. In reply, Caravan Travels was bundled out for a paltry 125-8. Skipper and opener Mohammad Akram anchored to make 63 but wickets were falling at the other end. Adnan contributed 16 and Zahid Khan 13. Syed Mohammad Afroz took 3-16 and Adnan Anwar Khan 2-19.

ARM, batting first, scored 245-5 against Mazco. Sami Khan top scored with 87 in 36 balls. Mohammad Nakhuda Thabriz slammed 69 in 35, Atta Ur Rehman 28 not out and Athar Ali 16. Usman took 2-25, Tabassum 1-38 and Faisal Khan had 1-53. In reply, Mazco was all out for 140 in 17.1 overs. Faisal Khan hit 31, Zain 30, Imran 23, Sabir Ali 13, while and 10 runs each came from Nasir and Waseem. Rashid Khursheed took 2-21, Zeeshan 2-26, Sadiq Merchant 2-29, Sami Khan 2-31 and Atta Ur Rehman 2-33.

ACE Travels' batting collapsed for 138 in 19 overs against Pak Green-XI. Khalid, who stood firm at one end, scored 67 off 32 balls but wickets were falling at the other end. Mamraiz Khan and Yameen made 13 each, while Shahbaz and Liaqath Zaman contributed 10 reach. Maqsood claimed 3-24, Furqan 3-28, Aman 2-17, Shan Manzoor 1-9 and Mamooon 1-26. In reply, Pak Green-XI reached 139-5 in 17 overs. Amer Wahla scored an unbeaten knock of 51. Others who contributed were Javed (40) and Fida (22). Maqsood took 2-35, Khalid 1-31, Rashid 1-21 and Mumrez Khan 1-25.
