JEDDAH – Indian schools in Jeddah made an outstanding performance in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, in March 2015.
International Indian School Jeddah maintained the legacy of 100 percent results for the fifth consecutive year. Out of a total of 514 students appeared for the examination, all of them passed but seven were placed in compartment. Nine students were absent.
Kristin Davis topped at IISJ by scoring 96.2 performance in commerce. She is the second topper Kingdomwide. Hasan Mohammed Shahid who scored 96 percent in science is the second school topper while Ulfat Rahman and Mohammed Danish V.P. came third with 95.8 percent.
Usaid Saud Changan scored 100 marks in chemistry. This was for the third year in a row an IISJ student scoring 100 percent marks in chemistry.
A total of 57 students secured 90 percent and above, and 496 students passed with 60 percent and above. Qualitatively the school has set new records. There are 1,846 distinctions in different subjects and 699 A1 grades.
Mohammed Abdul Raziq, chairman of the school managing committee, congratulated the toppers and all winners and the staff on their achievement. “The consistently phenomenal performance of IISJ students in the CBSE examinations is the result of sincere and dedicated efforts of the teachers and the support and cooperation from parents,” said Syed Masood Ahmed, principal of IISJ. “The school's motto is not preparing students simply for exams but rather prepare them well for life by enabling them to cope with the potential challenges that they have to face in future life,” he added.

Al-Falah DPS

Al-Falah International School (DPS Jeddah) also scored 100 percent results. The school's sixth batch, comprising 47 students, demonstrated outstanding performance in the exam. Mohammad Faisal Akhtar has hammered out distinction as the school topper with 92.6 percent and Sidra Raihan came second with 92.2 percent.
Amlan Praharaj and Omar Mohammed who scored 91.6 percent came third. The school management congratulated the teachers, students and parents for their stupendous performance and wished a brilliant future to the students who have brought laurels to the school.
Peevees Schools

The students of Peevees Schools have once again showcased remarkable academic excellence. Living up to their reputation, the commerce stream students came out with a spectacular 100 percent result. Karan Dilsher topped with 83.8 percent marks. Saad Yousuf Meer and Syed Sarwat Ali secured second and third positions with 79.2 percent and 71 percent respectively.
Peevees Schools have upheld their impressive track record in science stream with 98 percent pass rate. Out of the 39 students who appeared for the examination, Junaid Pasha of New Al Wurood International School bagged the top slot with 87.6 percent. Thoufiq Mustafa Batcha came second with 87.2 percent and Hiba Varambinalunkal secured the third position by scoring 86.2 percent.
Principal Sreedevi Menon and the school management congratulated all students for their perseverance and hard work, and the parents and teachers for the team work with sustained efforts throughout the year.
Al Mawarid School

A total of 54 students who appeared for the examination from Al Mawarid School passed with high grades. Twenty students bagged distinction and 19 got high first class and the rest passed with second class.
Abdullah Mohamed Khan is the topper with 90 percent marks while Thahleya Thasneem won second place with 88 percent and Syeda Safora came third.
In the commerce stream, Gul Afshan is the topper with 85 percent marks and Abshid Al-Farisi obtained second position with 84 percent while the third position was shared by Muhsina and Ummu Habiba. School owner Saad Said Al-Harithy, Principal Abdul Samad K.A., Manager K.T. Muhammad and Director Fousiya Al-Harithy congratulated the teachers and students for the outstanding performance.
Novel School

All 15 students of Novel International School who appeared in the examination from both science and commerce stream made outstanding performance.
Neha Mohammed Shameem, Abdul Basith Kiliyamannil and Shibila Rahiman are the toppers in commerce stream whereas Abir Yusuf Mohd Sait, Almasa Matouk and Mariyam Mohammed Rizwan Qureshi are the toppers in science stream. School Director Padma Hariharan, Principal Mohammed Shafeeque and the management congratulated the students, teachers and parents for their stupendous achievement.
“It is the reflection of arduous efforts of students and the commitment of teachers in tandem with the harmonious environment facilitated by the management,” Hariharan said.
