Hassan Cheruppa Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — For the fifth year in a row, International Indian School Jeddah outshined other Indian schools across the Kingdom in the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE-Class 12). IISJ maintained the legacy of 100 percent result for the fifth consecutive year. A total of 514 students appeared for the examination. All of them passed but seven are placed in compartment while nine were absent. Varsha Balchandra Kumar (IIS Dammam) and Vatsal J. Badami (IIS Jubail) who scored 97 percent in science stream are the toppers in the Kingdom. Kristin Davis topped at IISJ by scoring 96.2 percent followed by Hasan Mohammed Shahid who scored 96 percent. Ulfat Rahman and Mohammed Danish V.P. came in third position with 95.8 percent. Usaid Saud Changan scored 100 percent marks in Chemistry. Fifty students secured 90 percent and above, 496 students passed with 60 percent and above. There are 1846 distinctions in different subjects and 699 A1 grades. Syed Masood Ahmed, principal of IISJ, described the results as the outcome of outstanding teamwork. “I salute firstly the school staff for their wonderful work and then parents for their cooperation to bring out the maximum output from the students. The teachers worked as the best team on their own after creating successful environment for studies,” he said.
