The first batch of senior secondary students of Al Wurood International School, Jeddah, has passed the Grade XII All India Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) held in March 2012 with flying colors. The school's first graduating class has found an overall success rate of 97 percent. Out of 12 boys who appeared in the examination from the Science Stream, nine students scored between 60 – 85 percent. The top three toppers from the Science stream were Mohatasheem who came first with 83 percent followed by Stefan Sebastian Koilparampil and Mohammed Badarul Muneer, who came second and third with 80.4 percent and 79.6 percent respectively. From the Commerce stream out of 18 girls, 13 students have scored between 60 – 85 percent. The topper from the Commerce stream was Fareeha Jabeen who ranked first with 91.2 percent. Sulifina Nadarsha and Ashila Joy both shared the second position with 89.8 percent each and at the third spot was Safrin Asha with 83.2 percent. Principal, vice principal and the management congratulated the students and the staff on the excellent results.
