RIYADH — The Special Criminal Court in Riyadh sentenced on Thursday a Saudi man convicted of traveling to Syria and joining a terrorist outfit in the country to five years in prison. The court also imposed a travel ban on the Saudi for a similar period after his release from prison. The man was also charged with disobeying the ruler and harming the country's reputation by joining a terrorist organization abroad. He was accused of providing two Saudis with the telephone number of a man who would coordinate their travel to Syria to take part in the fighting there.
