RIYADH – The special criminal court in Riyadh sentenced on Monday five people, accused of terror-related charges, to jail terms and a travel ban. The court awarded convicts, including four Saudis and an Egyptian, jail terms ranging from three to nine years. The charges against them included embracing takfeeri ideology, disobeying rulers, plotting to assassinate security men, funding terrorist operations, taking pledge in front of terrorist leaders, and possession of unlicensed weapons.
