Mir Mohsin Ali RIYADH — Former captain of the Indian Cricket team and ex-member of parliament Mohammed Azharuddin will be felicitated by non-resident Indians at the Riyadh Palace hotel in Riyadh on Friday, April 3. Convener of the felicitation function Syed Akram Mohiuddin and co-convenor Syed Aftab Ali Nizami are looking at the preparations being made for the event. On this occasion prominent personalities of the Indian community from various walks of life will also be felicitated by Mohammed Azharuddin. Prominent educationalist and businessman Dr. Nadeem Akthar Tarin will grace the function as the guest of honor. The entry will be by invitation only. Around 200 guests are expected at the event. Akram said that a raffle draw will be conducted on this occasion and the lucky winner will receive the cricket bat autographed by Azharuddin from him. Young cricket sensation and Azharuddin's son, Mohammed Asaduddin, will accompany him. After attending the felicitation function in Riyadh they will visit the Prophet's Mosque in Madina and visit Makkah to perform Umrah. — SG
