RIYADH — The mother of Vice President of Jamia Millia Islamia Association (JMIA) Riyadh Chapter Syed Aftab Nizami died in New Delhi after a protracted illness. She was 70. She was laid to rest in a cemetery behind Humayun's Tomb. Her funeral prayer was attended by Member of Parliament and former captain of Indian cricket team Mohammed Azharuddin. Aftab Nizami flew to Delhi to take part in the funeral. The deceased leaves behind five daughters and four sons.
