JEDDAH – The contributions of former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin to the game were recalled at a function organized by Khursheed Usmani, Regional Manager of Dallah Trane and President of Jamia Millia Islamia (Jeddah Chapter) at InterContinental Hotel here Monday.
Addressing the gathering Mohammed Azharuddin called upon the young cricketers to develop their talent with dedication and hard work. He urged the guests who attended the function to motivate the children to start playing cricket from early stage of their lives.
The function was attended among others by Aftab Nizami, a Jamia alumnus; Nadeem Nadwi, CEO of Saudi Cricket Centre; Khalid Hassan Khan, Bahjat Sultan Qazi, Rayan Khan, Aleem Khan Falaki, Sohail Khalil, Afzal Nisar Khan, Naveed Siddiqui, Sajid Khan.
Khurshid Usmani proposed the vote of thanks. – SG
