Addressing the gathering Mohammed Azharuddin called upon the young cricketers to develop their talent with dedication and hard work. He urged the guests who attended the function to motivate the children to start playing cricket from early stage of their lives. The function was attended among others by Aftab Nizami, a Jamia alumnus; Nadeem Nadwi, CEO of Saudi Cricket Centre; Khalid Hassan Khan, Bahjat Sultan Qazi, Rayan Khan, Aleem Khan Falaki, Sohail Khalil, Afzal Nisar Khan, Naveed Siddiqui, Sajid Khan.
