Saudi Gazette Report DAMMAM — International Indian School Dammam (IISD) celebrated the annual Kindergarten Day with great splendor and fervor. The excitement and vibrancy of more than 800 participants from the Special Child Care Section, Pre-KG, LKG and UKG transformed the event in to a celebration of happiness. The enthusiastic presence of the parents of the participants was an added motivation for the children. Hemant Kotalwar, minister and deputy chief of the mission, Embassy of India, was the chief guest. Chairman of the School Managing Committee Abdulla Manjeri, and its members Thirunavukkarassu, Raju Kurien, Shamshad Ahmed along with the principal in-charge J A Rocque, and senior staff members also joined the celebration. An impressive and well-coordinated kindergarten band offered a warm welcome to the guests. A magical Disney parade in beautiful fairyland costumes by LKG children completely mesmerized the audience. To cherish the moments, a melodious performance was put up by the blooming buds of the preschool was appreciated by everyone in attendance. The perfect movement and colorful harmony of seasons was beautifully presented by the lively students of LKG. "Our Innocence, Our Right," a heart touching message emphasizing "No to child labor" was brilliantly conveyed by the adorable children of Special Child Care Section, through a musical skit, leaving the audience speechless. The magnetic and sparkling children of UKG enthralled the spectators with their various rhythmic dance on "Our State Our Pride." World Kaleidoscope and National Insignia, which portrayed the Indian heritage and patriotism also received huge appreciation. Meanwhile, after the event the deputy chief of the mission inaugurated a new and integrated software system with comprehensive modules to regulate and streamline the school management operations. He released the updated edition of "Career Booklet" prepared by the School Career Guidance Cell, which presented copies to the guests. The teacher choir group blessed the UKG graduates with an emotional and touching song. Principal and head of the Institution Dr. E K Mohammed Shaffe had welcomed the chief guest, and kindergarten headmistress Sabina Sajid presented the annual kindergarten report.
