JEDDAH — Saudi German Hospital (SGH), Old Students XI and Jeddah Shaheen came out on top in the 6th week matches of JCA Afternoon MoneyGram Tournament here. SGH beat Shalimar XI by 51 runs. SGH posted 179-4 in 20 overs. Ali was the top scorer with 53 in 37 balls, skipper Hasnain Tariq made 42, Hassan 28 and Amir 16 not out. Abdul Rauf claimed 1-20, Faisal 1-28, Tariq 1-25 and Faizan 1-30. In reply, Shalimar XI collapsed for 128. Zain Ul Huda scored 35, Faisal 14, Saad 12 and Zain Ul Salikeen 12. There were 30 extras. Taqiur Rehman bagged 3-17, Amir 3-37, Ali 2-16 and Adnan had 1-28. Old Students XI thumped Peeran XI by 9 wickets. Peeran XI, batting first, scored 91-6. Skipper Zaheer Peeran hit 27, Waqas 19 and Fawad 11. Izhar scalped 2-14, Asif 2-23, Amanullah 1-2 and Abdul Rehman Khalil 1-8. In reply, Old Students XI reached 95-1 in 7 overs. Asif smashed 22, Abdul Rehman Khalil 20, while Shahid remained unbeaten on 45 with five boundaries and three sixes. Jeddah Shaheen punished Peeran Warrior by 8 wickets. Peeran Warriors was bowled out for 99. Tariq with 25 and Saif 11 were the only batsmen to reach double figures. Karam took 4-22, Mubashir 2-12, Faheem 2-14, Zuhaib 1-11 and Umar 1-19. In reply, Jeddah Shaheen reached 102 in 10 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Faisal hit 42 off 28 balls, Faheem 32, Mubashir 22 and Karam 12. Afzal claimed 1-24 and Tariq 1-33.
