Opting to bat first, Tamer piled up 216-5. Jawed Ahmed, AKA Hammer of Jeddah, smashed 126 not out off 61 balls with 10 fours and eight sixes. His partner Mohammad Ayazuddin Irfan made a quick-fire 58 off 37 balls. The two scored 161 for the second wicket. There were 24 extras. Left-arm spinner Abdul Quddus claimed 3-36, Mirza 1-24 and Islam 1-39. In reply, Desert Warriors collapsed for 132 with Waseem making 39, Junaid 23, while Jaffar and Ashfaq contributed 17 each. Skipper Muzammil Riyaz added 13 despite a hand injury. Lanky leg-spinner Adnan Anwar Khan took 2-28, While Sarfaraz, Amjad and Ali claimed a wicket each. Panda tasted its first win against Arcoma by 24 runs. Panda, batting first, scored 181-8. Opener skipper Arif Hashmi hit 17, while Taher added 29, Muzammil 45 and Zafar 15. There were 33 extras. Sibghath scalped 2-17, Ilyas 2-25, Maqsood 1-22, Asif 1-24, Rafiullah 1-32 and Nabeel 1-39. In reply, Arcoma slumped for 157. Shareef cracked 63, Malik 32, Maqsood 14. Rizwan Khan took 4-32, Naveed 2-19, Yasser 2-25 and Taher 1-32. ARM thrashed Pak Green-XI by 7 wickets. Pak Green posted 189-7.
