Ashraf Shah, Rauf Memon hit centuries in JCA Division-I

Syed Ashraf Shah and Abdul Rauf Memon hit centuries and put up a record opening wicket partnership of 234 runs which earned Pak Ahmadabad-XI to win by 50 runs against Zinda Tilismat of Hyderabad India in the 11th week matches of the JCA Division-I Championship for ACE Cup which is sponsored by the ACE Travel & Tours and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association.
In other matches, Natco beat Panda by 39 runs, Saad Group won against Pure Foods by 8 wickets, Brothers-XI beat Tamer by 29 runs and Rawi won by 4 wickets over Old Students-XI.
Pak Ahmadabad-XI, batting first, scored 250-1 in 18 overs against Zinda Tilismat of Hyderabad-India. Syed Ashraf Shah remained unbeaten on 109 in 51 balls and Abdul Rauf Memon made 119 in 51 balls. They put up a record partnership of 234 runs for the first wicket. Left arm spinner Mohammad Zahid took the wicket to fall. Zinda Tilismat made 200-6 in 18 overs through skipper Sadathullah 65, Zaman 45, Jaweed Ahmed 41 and Zahid 12. Zahid Ahmed took 2 wickets while Saleem, Rauf, Khalil and Muzzamil claimed one wicket each.
Natco Saudi Arabia made 173-8 in 18 overs against Panda-XI. Jawad scored 79, skipper Humayun Farooq 20, Fahad 14 and Imran 8. Anwar took 3 wickets and Tahir 2 wickets. Panda, in return, was all out for 134. Haroon remained unbeaten on 39, Farhan made 31, Tahir Ayub 24 and Sameer 13. Left-arm spinner Ashiq Ali recorded a magical figures of 5-20. Imran claimed 2 wickets, while Azraar and Niaz Mohammad got one each.
Pure Foods-XI, batting first, made 168-6 in 18 overs against Saad Group-XI. Sajjad Khan made 89 not out. Adnan hit 20, Rushdi 16, Imran 15 and Taabish 10. Riaz and Dilshad took 2 wickets each while Ismail and Mustafa got one each. Saad Group reached 173-2 in 16.1 overs.
Mustafa was the highest scorer with a match-winning 90 in 41 balls. Amer made 43 and Ismail 29. Asif took 2 wickets,.
Brothers-XI, batting first, scored 169-3 in 18 overs against Tamer. Mohammad Rayeesuddin made 62, Syed Irfan 36, Shahid Iqbal 19 and Junaid 27 not out. Anwar Khan took 3 wickets. Tamer was all out for 140 in 17.4 overs.
Anwar Khan 38 and Hafeez Ahmed 22 were the main scorers. Shameem took 4 wickets while Moin and Amanullah got one each.
Old Students-XI, batting first, made 122-6 in 18 overs against Rawi Cricketers through Najmi 32, Mohammad 26, Raja 19 and Ali 14. Shamsheer Khan took 3 wickets while Kashan, Shafi Ullah and Jamil Khan claimed one each. Rawi reached 123-6 in 11 overs through Kashan 30, Hidayath Ullah 27 and Shahid Ullah 21. Waheed Ullah and Hameed claimed 2 wickets each while Abbas got one.
