Alcohol smuggler held at checkpoint

RIYADH — Customs officers caught a smuggler who was trying to smuggle 285 liters of alcohol into the Kingdom at the Al-Batha checkpoint. Head of the checkpoint Abdulrahman Al-Mihana said the smuggler was caught during a routine investigation. The suspect hid the alcohol in benzene barrels, he said.
