Attempt to smuggle alcohol foiled

RIYADH — Al-Batha Customs caught a smuggler trying to smuggle 335 liters of alcohol into the Kingdom by storing it in his truck's gas tank. Al-Batha Customs General Director Abdulrahman Al-Muhana said the offender was caught during customs officers' regular inspection routines. “He was storing the alcohol in the main gas tank of the vehicle after dividing it into two sections and storing the alcohol in the bigger partition,” said Al-Muhana.
