Mazroi and Nesma to play for SCC Morning Cup today

JEDDAH — Al-Mazroi and Nesma Holding will play for the SCC Morning Cup Friday following semifinals wins over Brasa De Brazil and Crown Blue, respectively.
Pepsi Deccan Knights, My Care Hala and Dopco Stars scored wins in the SCC Premier Division sponsored by Sauid Cricket Center.
SCC Morning Cup
In the first semifinal Nesma Holding trounced Crown Blue by 6 runs. Nesma Holding piled up 170-9 through skipper Sheraz 44 not out, Ben 30, Saidul 27, and Akram 24. Anwaar Chand took 3-34, Junaid 2-17 and Saleem 2-28. Crown Blue, in reply, was left stranded at 164-9 with Tasleem making 45, Anwaar Chand 31 and Saleem 26. Rana claimed 3-23 and Javeed 2-25, while Ben, Akram and Zafar bagged a wicket each.
In the other semifinal, Al-Mazroi defeated Brasa De Brazil by 33 runs. Al-Mazroi plundered 195-6 with Faisal Patel blasting his consecutive century (115 in 41 balls with 10 boundaries and 8 sixes) and Sohail compiled 34. Omair took 2-35. Brasa De Brazil, in response, was restricted to 162-8 as Kashif made 37, Zaman 33, Bilal 26 and Omair 25. Muthahar claimed 3-28, while Farhan, Sufiyan and Sohail bagged a wicket each.
SCC Premier Cup
Pepsi Deccan knights thrashed Al-Ghamdi Cricket Stars by 68 runs. Pepsi Deccan Knights racked up 198 for 4 thanks to a fine century (120 in 57 balls) by Athar Abdulquddus, while Mazhar compiled 28. Waleed had 2-39 and Mustaf 1. Al-Ghamdi responded with 130 for 7 with Ali Ansar top-scoring with 63 in 46 balls and Majid 28. Naveed claimed 3-26, while a wicket each went to Akbar, Sohail and Rabbani.
Dopco Stars downed Hala Friends by 17 runs. Dopco Stars piled up 188 for 8 through Nadeem (60), Shahbaz Rasheed (32), Imran (27) and Asim (26).
Saleem, Khalid Iqbal and Zeeshan claimed two wickets each. Hala Friends, in reply, was restricted to 171 for 9 as Saleem stroked 31, Zahid 24, Wajahat 23 and Samer 23 not out. Shahbaz Rasheed took 3-24, while Wahid, Asim and Afzal bagged 2 each.
In another encounter, My Care Hala humbled Crown Steel by 6 runs. My Care Hala plundered 190 for 3 thanks to Qamar Abbas (56 off 26 balls), Kashif Shafeeq (76 off 54 balls), Amjed (20) and Tariq (20). Shoaib Ali scalped 2-26 and Aijaz 1.
Crown Steel began solidly with Waqas Ausaf hitting 64 in 31 balls and Kashif making 44, but the others could not keep up the run-rate. Adnan Dani had 3-33, Iftikhar 2-28.
