Planas JEDDAH — Pin Rockers team made the Magic Four when Kaleem Salim, skipper Rudy Valenzuela and team manager Carling Constantino scored massively against JTC Incorporated during the 15th session of the FEDBG Friday Morning Bowling League 14th Meet at the Bowling City here recently. On top of the devastating attack was Salim who totaled 700 to clinch his second male Bowler of the Week honor. Lefty Salim sizzled with sterling games of 213, 243 and 244 to inspire Valenzuela and Constantino who planked 601 and 607, respectively. May Lourdes and George Mangaliman tried shielding JTC but Andy Yumena, Minda Guevara and Romy Bunagan supported solidly to eclipse opponents at 20-0 with a Team of the Week-winning aggregate of 3,621 against 3,054 of the loser. In other matches, defending champion Micah's Pride blanked Shawly Bowlers to continue leading the tournament with 493 points. Pin Crushers also downed Lane Trackers to sustain second place with 431 points. Ekis-5 emptied Taurus to stiffen its hold on third place with 428 points. Pin Rockers is now fourth with 348. Meanwhile, Shawly Bowlers slid to fifth place with 343, while BCT Mongoose enlivened its hope to join Magic Four with 314 after walloping cellar dweller Falcon Bowlers. Malou Gime turned out the most instrumental player in Ekis-5's victory. Gime posted a new record for hi-series with handicap at 688 and won the female Bowler of the Week award on games of 209, 265 and 214. In a related development, previous bowlers of week were honored with their corresponding awards. The honorees are Bunagan, Faisal Relativo, Roger Daquioag, Yumena, Rene Balangue, Mhon Laxamana, Sol Cuenca, Alam Bacero, Lanie Zamora, Sally Sanosa and Ester Santoc.
