JEDDAH — Taurus team garnered its third Team of the Week honor when Lanie Zamora excelled for a new hi-series with a handicap record of 671 for her fourth Lady Bowler of the Week accolade to lead teammates in blanking opponents in the 13th session of FEDBG Friday Morning Bowling League's 14th meet at the Bowling City here.
With Salic Mudag and Sol Cuenca besting the backup squad with 589 each, Taurus punished Lane Trackers with 1,131, 1,132 and 1,180 for 3,443 handicapped aggregate with the latter going home with 3,316. Max Salang, Edris Mangoda and Dylan Ilagan shared with 517, 501 and 576, while Zamora delighted team captain Jun de Dios and team manager Raul delos Reyes with games of 214, 225 and 232. Hercie Bosito and Rommel Calingasan defended the Simone Dellosa-captained Lane Trackers with 597 and 589.
Sharing honors for the session was Mhon Laxamana who led Falcon Bowlers with 624 in battling Ekis-5. The Ernie Geslani-captained and managed Ekis-5 swiped the match at 3,341-3,070 (20-0) with Frank Afurong and Med Ramos topping with 998 and 984. Laxamana, who fought along with team manager Rene Ocampo, Alfred Gabuat, Louie Panganiban and Augusto Tendero posted games of 181, 215 and 228.
Other matches showed that Pin Crushers beat JTC Incorporated at 14-6, Shawly Bowlers edged Pin Rockers at 11-9 and Micah's Pride walloped BCT Mongoose at 18-2.
Current team standings:
Micah's Pride 423 points, Pin Crushers 384, Ekis-5 353, Shawly Bowlers 315, Pin Rockers 280, BCT 264, JTC Incorporated 256, Taurus 222, Lane Trackers 122 and Falcon Bowlers 111.
