Fire destroys car workshop

BAHA — Several residents of a residential building in Baha were evacuated as a safety precaution after a car workshop operating on the building's ground floor caught fire. Baha Civil Defense spokesman Lt. Col. Abdullah Al-Thabyah said firefighting units and Red Crescent teams evacuated at least 25 residents from the three-story building and provided first aid. One of the cars in the shop was completely damaged and a shop worker was slightly injured. An investigation is under way.
