TAIF — An electrical short caused a fire in a building in Al-Bukharyah neighborhood of Taif. Civil Defense spokesman Col. Naser Al-Sharef said the fire broke out on the first floor of the four-story building and Civil Defense firefighters brought the blaze under control before it spread. A woman suffered from suffocation and was treated on site by the Red Crescent and occupants of 10 apartments were evacuated to the roof for their safety.
