MADINAH — Police have arrested a Saudi suspected of murdering his 21-year-old friend. Madinah Police spokesman Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam said a citizen had notified police that his brother was missing and police circulated his description to all police units. Search and investigation teams narrowed down their suspicions to a friend of the victim and arrested him. During questioning, the man admitted to taking his friend to a desert area where he stabbed him multiple times and set his body on fire. Forensics teams were inspected the site and transported the charred body to the mortuary. The case has been referred to prosecution authorities.
