MADINAH — The Civil Defense firemen rescued a woman and her two children from their apartment that was on fire in the Al-De'aithah neighborhood of Madinah on Saturday. Madinah Civil Defense spokesman Col. Khalid Al-Jehani said the fire was caused by the electric heater when the family was asleep. Neighbors notified the Civil Defense when they saw smoke coming out of the apartment. Firefighters who rushed to the site broke the apartment door and found the mother and children lying unconscious due to smoke inhalation. They were rushed to hospital and provided with necessary treatment.
