Police seized about 500 bundles of qat (leaves of a narcotic plant) from a young man in Huraidah, Asir province, on Friday. Apparently, the man had smuggled his cargo across the border. A patrol team grew suspicious about the vehicle and asked the young man to pull over. On searching the car, the officers found the qat bundles stashed inside. — Okaz photo
