RIYADH — Pakistan Falcons, Imran-XI, Royal Strikers, Kashmir-XI, Lahore Badshah Green, Punjab Star and Nouman Gymkhana won their matches in Riyadh Zone of American Express T20 Cup, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here recently. Pakistan Falcons beat TBCC by a huge margin of 137 runs. Batting first, Falcons posted 232-5. Yasir Ahmed scored 100, while Ahmed Junaid and Tila Yusafzai added 50 each. Shameem, Hakeem, Cheriyan and Aneesh got 1 wicket each. TBCC was all out for 95, in reply. Hamza Abbasi bowled well and took 4 wickets, while Yasir Ahmed and Omar Farooq grabbed 2 wickets each. Imran-XI defeated Rawdah Heats by 6 wickets. Heats batted first and made 143. For Imran-XI, Majid Khan took 2 wickets. Imran-XI achieved the target in 17.4 overs. Majid Khan scored 44, Hazrat Hussain 43 and Israr Ahmed 23. Royal Strikers beat Kashmir Gymkhana by 101 runs. Strikers batted first and scored 194-4, thanks to a match-winning knock of 107 by Sunil Kulai. He was ably supported by Renjith Nair, who added 21. Kashmir Gymkhana was bowled out for a meagre 93. Khurram was the only batsman who showed some resistance to make 23. Aneesh Ashok destroyed the Kashmir Gymkhana batting lineup by taking 4 wickets. Kashmir-XI defeated Tigers by 36 runs. Kashmir-XI batted first and scored 166-7. For Tigers, Upol Zareif took 3 wickets, while Manik got 2. Tigers scored 130, in reply.Kamran added 28 and Faraz 25. Lahore Badshah Green beat AKCC by 94 runs. Lahore Badshah Green batted first and scored 164, thanks to a well-played innings of 82 by Zeeshan. Moazzam bowled well for AKCC and took 3 wickets, while Mubashir and Amin also chipped in with 2 wickets each. AKCC, in reply, was restricted to a paltry 70. Waseem and Sammer took 3 wickets each, while Jahangir got 2. Punjab Stars beat Riyadh Royals by 110 runs. Punjab Stars batted first and scored a formidable 228. Kamran and Irshad took 3 wickets each. In reply, Royals collapsed to 118. Nouman Gymkhana got the better of Grundfos by 4 wickets. Grundfos batted first and scored 179-9. Saad, Imran and Amjad claimed 2 wickets each. Nouman Gymkhana chased the target in 19 overs. Afzal scored 60, Izhar 41 and Yasir 26. In another match of the Riyadh Zone, Majlis-e-Pakistan got a walkover against Pak Fighters.
