Attieh Steel, Riyadh Warriors cruise in Alhamrani Cup

RIYADH — Fifteen exciting matches were played in Alhamrani Fuchs Cup organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here recently.
In the Huraymala Cricket Zone, Attieh Steel beat Hyderabadi Warriors. Warriors batted first and scored 201 in 20 overs. Imroz hit 44, while Waseem and Mubashir added 40 each. Attieh Steel reached the target in 17.3 overs. Syed Nasir bagged four wickets.
Riyadh Warriors beat KFSH Green by 20 runs. Riyadh Warriors put on 186-5. Abdulrahim and Ayaz scored 51 each, while Ahmadullah added 45. Naveed took three wickets. KFSH Green, in reply, fell short by 20 runs. Rafaqat and Taimoor Butt scored 35 each. Taufeeq claimed four wickets.
In another match, Riyadh Fighters beat Saudi Jaguar by 65 runs. Riyadh Fighters, batting first, scored 165 in 20 overs. Omer hit 47 and Hameed 35. Saudi Jaguar, in reply, was all out for 100. Israr claimed 3-12, while Imran, Taqi and Yassir took two each.
RAC, meanwhile, beat Thales by two wickets. Batting first, Thales scored 154 as Mudassir, Amjad and Sarfraz took two wickets each. RAC achieved the target in 17.2 overs. Mubashir held the innings together with an innings of 64, while Sarfraz added 22.
Stallions beat Combined-XI by seven wickets. Combined-XI put on 155. Asmat Shahzad made 52, Ejaz 31 and Naeem 24. Shakoor took three wickets and Farman two. Stallions raced to the target off 12.3 overs. Asif hit 68 and Yassir 48.
In the Riyadh Cricket Zone, Lahore Badshah Green beat Yousafzayi Club by 49 runs. Batting first, Lahore scored 189-9. Zeeshan played a marvelous innings and hit 102, while Jahangir added 21.
Yasser and Waheed took two wickets each. Yousafzayi, in reply, could score only 140. Yasser hit 53 and Altaf 22. Amer bowled excellently for his five wickets. Zeeshan and Jahangir bagged two wickets each.
In other matches in the zone: Punjab Stars beat Majlis-e-Pakistan by 14 runs; Kashmir Press edged Seham by six wickets; Imran-XI downed Crescent by five runs; TBCC defeated Grundfos by nine runs; Royal Strikers got the better of Tigers by eight runs.
In the Al-Qassim Cricket Zone, Paradise-XI beat Pak Dawliya-XI by 57 runs. Batting first, Paradise scored 197-4 in 20 overs. Nouman 48, Razzaq 46 and Basit 42 were among the runs. In reply, Pak Dawliya was all out for 140. Yasser scored 52. Obaid took three wickets, while Nouman and Razzaq bagged two each.
Janbaz-XI beat Shaheen-XI by six wickets. Shaheen was all out for 160. Aamir was top scorer with 80. Mukhmal took two wickets. In reply, Janbaz chased the score in 15.3 overs. Mubashir added 60 and Naveed 46.
In other matches played in the zone: Al-Fatah-XI beat Azad-XI by 25 runs; and Pak-XI beat Al-Saqar by 150 runs.
