RIYADH — Pakistan International School, English Section, Riyadh (PISES) has been enjoying the reputation of being one of the best educational institutions in the region for the last decade for continuously producing excellent results in ‘O' and ‘A' Level exams. The students of PISES further strengthened this reputation by showing outstanding performance in the results declared by the Cambridge University few days back. In Cambridge IGCSE, the School has produced 100 percent result with 97 percent students achieving grades from A* to C as per international range scale while 73 percent are A* and A grade achievers. The percentage of grades from A* to B remains 90 percent which reflects the marvelous performance of the students in these examinations. This is the fourth consecutive year when PISES has produced excellent result maintaining the percentage of these highest grades above 90 percent, which reflects the student's dedication, staff devotion and parents' contribution. These excellent results distinct PISES from all other international schools not only in the Kingdom but the region. Zainab Rouf among girls' and Osama Zahid Khan among boys' got first position with 9 A*/A's. Other top achievers Sara Salman, Kinza Mahmood, Mariam Jamail,Suhaib Aslam, Razan Aziz Khan, Seema Nawal, Maheera Zubair,Aaqib Mannan Waheed, Omer Ahmed Sohail, Kumail Hussain, Haider Ali Shahid,Talha Bin Faisal, Ashfa Shabbir, Yamna Arif scored 8A*/A's. The students who got 7 A*/A's are Muhammad Raza Ali, Abdul Munim Zahid, Syme Usman Bophal, Namrah Qureshi, Iqra Shahab, Danial Naveed, Muhammad Kaab, Mir Muntasir Ali Agha,, Muhammad Hamza Malik, Aisha Hussian, Museera Irshad Khan, Afnan Shahbaz and Fatima Asad. Further Bilal Anwar, Naseer Iqbal, Aqsa Basharat Bajwa, Hassan Ismail, Mirza Rohan Manzoor, Waleed Amjad Islam, Mohammad Bilal Chaudhary, Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Saifullah, Syed Ahmed Hussain, Mariam Jamail, Naima Naveed and Mohammad Nasir Nayar are among those who scored 6A*/A's. Muhammad Tanveer, the acting principal of PISES expressed his feelings of gratitude to Allah Almighty for this achievement and congratulated the staff, students and their parents for their collective efforts and contribution to bring the school to this standard.
