Students of Bangladesh International School – English Section in Jeddah achieved impressive results in the University of Cambridge International Examinations – the GCE ‘A' Levels and the IGCSE. Out of the 79 students who attended the examinations, 62 percent wrote the GCE ‘A' Level exam and received grades between ‘A' and ‘C'. Nearly 18 percent achieved grade ‘A'. Up to 99 percent of the students who wrote the IGCSE, passed the exam and 68 percent of them achieved ‘A*' and ‘A' grades. Abdullah Mohammad Salimullah topped the ‘A' Level results by receiving four ‘A' grades and one ‘B' grade. Taha Mubashir and Umme Humaira Jashim Uddin came next. Farhan Adib Ahmed, Muhammad Shafile Rashid, Munjer Mohammed Hashim and Rumana Rafiq Ullah topped the results for the IGCSE exam. “The school and the community (is) proud of the student's achievements,” said Khaled Akhtar, chairman BISJ-ES. “They have maintained the school's reputation.” “The results reflect the hard work and commitment of the students,” said Principal Ann Khoaz. “They are real achievers and a credit to our school.” __
