Several Pakistan International School (English Section) students this year have achieved excellent results in the IGCSE, GCE O' Level and AS/A Level examinations conducted by the University of Cambridge, UK. The results were announced Monday night. In A Level Examinations, Areeba Ariz and Areej Zahid Hasan secured first position in the school. They appeared in four A Level subjects and had top grades in all subjects. Faryal Sajjad secured second position in the school. She appeared in three A Level subjects and one AS subject and had A grades in all the subjects. Talking to Saudi Gazette, Mrs. Sehar Kamran, the school's principal, said it was a matter of great pleasure that students from her school were able to achieve such outstanding results. IGCSE students, she said, have brought great pride to the school by producing 100 percent pass result with Excellent Grades. Most of the students have secured A+ and A Grades. The results are a “manifestation of sincerity of purpose, devotion to the cause of education, and total commitment of faculty members, students and parents. The number of A+ and A grades have turned out to be the highest as compared to all previous years. The percentage of A+ to B grades exceeds 93 percent of the total result and the percentage of A+ to C grade exceeds 98 percent.
